The fact that you are conscious of those areas in which you still need improvement is a victory in itself.Rachelhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06442545891223505489noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-161039890401372446.post-14434868398756256802008-11-09T17:19:00.000+00:002008-11-09T17:19:00.000+00:00Piffle - Thank you. :) I am trying, and talking ab...Piffle - Thank you. :) I am trying, and talking about it helps. It's definitely true that eating past full is ridiculously easy, especially if you're not paying much attention to the fact that you're eating at all. And it comes with a whole bunch of social issues attached as well - my husband likes to watch TV while we eat, quite often things that we want to watch are on at that time. Or, you know, I want to eat popcorn at the movies or something. I'm not in tune with my hunger at the best of times, let alone when I'm distracted. But at the same time, hard as it is, it seems necessary for the very reason that it IS hard.

Heidi - Thank you. A lot of people have said that, which has taken me by surprise as well. I think there are a lot of us on this journey, and I think most of us never realised that anyone else was on it. Hopefully knowing we're not alone helps. :)maddiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17164094343714816169noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-161039890401372446.post-37015196478908195812008-11-08T18:04:00.000+00:002008-11-08T18:04:00.000+00:00You know...I found your blog through the fatospher...You know...I found your blog through the fatosphere feed and reading through this entry, and your past ones, it is as if I were sitting down and writing my own story. I agree that it's really easy to eat past full, and thinking about it really is very necessary. I have to monitor fullness too myself, it's definitely the hardest part of intuitive eating for me.

Brava you!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
